Background

For many enthusiasts, the C4 S6 is a cult classic. For this client, it was a specific childhood dream waiting to be realized. He finally had the opportunity not just to own one, but to build the ultimate version of it. The goal was to take the legendary Audi 5-cylinder platform and modernize it into a serious performance machine without losing its soul or utility.

Legend Reborn

The heart of the build is the legendary Audi AAN 2.2L 5-cylinder. To ensure it could handle double its factory output, we completely reinforced the block. We installed forged internals and a girdle plate to stiffen the bottom end, while the cylinder head was CNC-machined for improved cooling and equalized combustion chambers.

This isn't just a drag engine; it's smart. We integrated a MaxxECU Race system to modernize the management, enabling E-throttle, traction control, and—crucially for a street car—retaining fully functional Air Conditioning and Cruise Control.

The Super Wagon

The result is a sleeper Avant that pushes 450kW (600hp) on E85. To handle this newfound pace, we upgraded the stopping power with Brembo calipers sourced from a Porsche Cayenne. It is the perfect balance of nostalgia and modern violence—a childhood dream that can now embarrass modern sports cars.
