AN10 60° PTFE Quick-Connect hose end
SPD’s motorsport series of AN quick-connect fittings is developed for maximum reliability and to completely eliminate the risk of leakage.
The fittings can be connected and disconnected quickly and easily without tools, saving valuable time during service, maintenance, and pit work.
The quick-connect mechanism is engineered for the highest possible level of reliability.
One half features machined locking lugs and guide pins that securely engage with the opposite half, which contains matching grooves with a mechanical positive-lock design.
This means the AN fitting locks automatically when pushed together. To disconnect, both axial pressure and rotation are required simultaneously, completely preventing accidental separation.
Many other quick-release AN fittings on the market use small locking balls as the retention mechanism. While this design may work initially, it often becomes unreliable when exposed to dust, dirt, or drying, which can prevent the balls from moving freely and locking correctly. The result can be an AN quick-connect that appears locked but separates over time, leading to a fully open leak.
The SPD design completely avoids this issue. The locking mechanism is purely mechanical, clearly defined, and externally visible. It is far less affected by contamination or wear. You can instantly see that the fitting is securely connected.
Internal sealing is achieved using dual Viton O-rings, making these AN fittings highly resistant to aggressive fuels such as ethanol (E85, E100). They are equally suitable for gasoline, diesel, oil, coolant, and air.
See the listed Quick-Connect accessories below. These are required to complete the connection and make it ready for use.
Male:
Screws into other AN or JIC fittings and seals via the 37° flare, meaning no additional gasket or seal is required. The opposite end connects to a Quick-Connect hose fitting.
Female:
Screws into other AN or JIC fittings and seals via the 37° flare, meaning no additional gasket or seal is required. The opposite end connects to a Quick-Connect hose fitting.
ORB (O-ring Boss):
Screws into threaded AN or JIC ports and seals against a flat surface using an O-ring, rather than a flare. The opposite end connects to a Quick-Connect hose fitting.
Hose fitting:
Connects to AN-hose. The opposite end connects to a Quick-Connect adapter.
