8HP45 Starter Adapter for BMW M50 M52 M54 S52 M40 M42 M43

8HP45 transmissions from BMW N55 and N20 bolt up (with minimal modifications) to BMW M50, M52, M54, S50, S52, S54 and M42 M43 and other engines with same bellhousing bolt pattern.

With this adapter you can fit the M5x M4x starter motor to the 8HP45 transmission.

This starter is known to fit with N54 N55 and N20 flexplates.

You can use N54 flex plate on N55 transmission.

Transmissions from N20 engines have a different torque converter. For this you can use our modified flex plate or change the torque converter to e.g N55 one
